Galion Primary School

Welcome to Galion Primary School!

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome Back!  We are incredibly excited to begin the 2019-2020 school year here at Galion Primary!  The year promises to be a year filled with opportunities for all of our students to become leaders and readers.  We embark on this journey with a pledge to our students and families, that this will be a year of engaging, meaningful and rigorous work in our classrooms.

In this upcoming year, we will work hard to continue the legacy of success established at Galion Primary by building strong relationships with students, parents, and community partners.  We will build leaders in each student through the continue use of the Leader In Me program and provide consistent implementation of new reading curriculum in a way to increase student achievement for all.  These enhancements will continue to develop our guiding principles: Believe in yourself, Achieve your greatest potential, and Succeed in all aspects of life.

We look forward to a positive and productive year together!  We extend an invitation to our families and community to join us at school activities and events whenever possible.  We value your involvement and support in our children’s education!  Your participation is key to the success of our young Tigers.

Please know that we value home/school communication here at Galion Primary.  It plays a crucial role in each student’s success.  We encourage you to follow us on Facebook, read our monthly newsletters, and check our website frequently.  If a need or question arises, please feel free to contact us.

Again, we welcome you to Galion Primary and to our wonderful learning community.  Our school is a place where we work and learn together in a safe and respectful way to become lifelong learners!  Here’s to an AWESOME new school year as we work together to make our school a great place to work and learn each day!

Sincerely,

Melisa Watters, Galion Primary Principal
