Primary School Library
In Grades Pre-K - 2, students have a regularly scheduled library time when the librarian provides instruction in information literacy skills, reads stories, and provides guidance in choosing reading materials.
Students are encouraged to select Reading Counts materials as well as other reading materials. We encourage students to sign out reading materials as they need them. Students are also welcome to use the library outside of this class time at the discretion of their teacher. To develop responsible use, we limit the number of books signed out to each student at one time. We do this to help students track what they have borrowed and when to return what they have borrowed.
