Galion City Schools is pleased to announce that applications for open enrollment, Kindergarten, and preschool for the 2025-26 school year are now available. Families interested in enrolling students in Galion City Schools are encouraged to apply soon to secure their spots in our district.
Applications for open enrollment must be completed before May 1. Families who are currently open-enrolled are required to reapply each year.
In addition, scheduling is now open for Kindergarten screening. Families with children entering Kindergarten in the 2025-26 school year should contact the district to schedule a screening appointment. Screening appointments are limited to Galion residents only and will take place on April 14 & 15. Early registration ensures a smooth transition and helps families prepare for their child’s educational journey. Call the Galion Primary School office to schedule an appointment. 419-468-4010.
Galion City Schools is also accepting applications for its Gold Star-rated preschool program. Our program, recognized for excellence in early childhood education, provides a strong foundation for young learners in a nurturing and engaging environment. Spots are limited, so families are encouraged to apply soon. Application packets are available in the Galion Primary School office.
