Tuesday, Nov 3, is Election Day and Teacher in-Service Day here at Galion. There will be No School for students.

Way to go, Tigers! 🐯 Together, we collected 3,148 pairs of socks this year, bringing our 13-year grand total to an incredible 34,458 pairs! 🎉

Did you know our students have access to a School-Based Nurse Practitioner through our partnership with Akron Children’s? 💙🧡
With parent/guardian consent, students can receive care for common illnesses and minor medical concerns right at school, helping keep them healthy and in the classroom!
Brittany Bayer, CNP, visits Galion monthly to provide in-person services, with telehealth options also available.

🐯 Tip Wednesday: School Bus Safety Week! 🚌
Keeping our Tigers safe is everyone’s responsibility! When you see a school bus with flashing yellow lights, slow down and prepare to stop. When the red lights are flashing and the stop-arm is extended, you must come to a complete stop — whether you’re approaching from the front or the rear of the bus.
🚦 Remember the Danger Zone! The areas 10 feet in front of and on either side of the bus, along with the space behind it, are especially dangerous because children may be difficult for the driver to see.
Please be patient, stay alert, and follow the law. A few extra seconds can make all the difference in keeping our students safe! 💙🧡
